The Site

All pitches have electric hook up and are hard standing. There is a w/c and wash hand basin with hot and cold water. There is a new toilet and shower facility shared with our other site Criffel View. The new block is fully set up for wheelchair and disabled access with a wet room facility and the other side of the block has a shower, hand basin and w/c. For chemical toilet please use green/ organic fluid. There is free wi-fi available on site. We are a small, friendly site based on a working farm which has been in our family for over ninety years. We are lucky to be situated in the unspoilt countryside of Dumfries and Galloway. The quiet surroundings offer peace and tranquillity but we are ideally located for a host of activities in the region. We are dog friendly.

We also have a 'mini museum' available for guests to browse our collection of vintage tractors and farm implements. Tours available on request to learn more about these items.

We have a fabulous range of bird species on our site with feeders placed near to all pitches allowing you to enjoy viewing them from your caravan.

New for 2024 - Fully enclosed path and exercise area for visitors and dog walkers to enjoy sitting on a bench and enjoying the peace and quiet of the countryside (perhaps with a picnic) with far reaching views over the rolling hills and farmland. Look over to New Abbey including Waterloo Monument, Sweetheart Abbey and Criffel/Knockendoch hills. Further in the distance there are views over the Solway to the Cumbrian coastline and mountains. There are also fantastic scenes of the picturesque Dumfriesshire countryside.
